Our Crown & Bridge Technology
We use iTero digital scanning for precise imaging, eliminating the need for traditional impressions. Depending on your treatment plan, we offer 2 options:
- Same-day crowns with CEREC: Our in-office CEREC system allows us to design, mill, and place your crown in a single visit.
- Lab-fabricated crowns and bridges: For complex cases or when preferred materials are needed, we send your digital scans to a trusted dental lab. A temporary restoration is placed until your custom crown or bridge is ready.
What Is a Dental Crown?
A dental crown (also called a cap) is a custom-made cover that fits over a damaged or treated tooth. It restores the tooth’s shape, strength, and appearance while protecting it from further wear. We may recommend a crown if you:
- Have a cracked or broken tooth
- Need to strengthen a tooth after a root canal
- Have a tooth with extensive decay or a large filling

What Is a Dental Bridge?

- Tooth preparation and digital scan: The tooth is shaped to allow for the restoration. We then take a precise 3D scan using our iTero system.
- Same-day or lab-made fabrication:
- CEREC same-day: Your crown is milled onsite and placed the same day.
- Lab fabrication: A temporary crown or bridge is placed while the final restoration is made.
- Final placement: Once your custom restoration is ready, we check for proper fit and bond it securely to your tooth
